OPPI embarked on a three-phased program to help improve the quality of life of the Aetas. The first phase covered a donation of an elevated water tank and a washroom facility, and the second, a solar panel system for their school. The third phase was a livelihood assistance program where the Aetas were given goats to raise, a motorcyle with a cart to transport their goods, and planted grafted mango trees for them to harvest in the future.
